I have been looking at selling some old and broken gold jewelry. I have looked at the websites of several places you can mail your gold to. The prices beat pawn shops. How much can I expect to get per ounce of 14k gold and has anyone had any good or bad experience in selling their gold?

Would you take notice at all? If so, what do you think when you notice it? If you are one that spends money on them, why do you do it? I know this sounds like a weird question but I’m just curious, because some people spend a lot of money on those things and its interesting to me.
